Kathy Haney

Vice President of Human Resources

Oklahoma State University, Business Education

Kathy Haney, Vice President of Human Resources, is a positive force of nature who resonates well with Griffin’s culture of humility, passion, empowerment, and innovation. She believes in a culture of learning, growth and organizational health and regularly leads teams through The Griffin Advantage, a series of leadership events that promote both individual and team health. Rather than shutting down the fun, Kathy is often the self-proclaimed instigator while also ensuring that all activities are open and align with Griffin’s values.

An advocate for giving back to the community, Kathy has served in several nonprofit and leadership organizations. She previously served as the President of the YWCA’s Board of Directors and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the Oklahoma Employers Healthcare Alliance. She previously sat on the National Board of Directors for the Association of Legal Administrators, an international organization that connects leaders and managers within the legal industry.

Additionally, she volunteers for numerous nonprofits such as Sunbeam Family Services, Citizens Caring for Children, Positive Tomorrows, and other organizations that serve families with special needs kids and those suffering from food insecurity.

While Kathy has received several accolades related to her professional life, her greatest and most significant achievement is her family. Kathy’s positive energy and calming spirit is grounded in her faith and this unwavering devotion to family – both her personal one and her work one.

When not playing with her six grandkids, Kathy loves spending time in the mountains, listening to podcasts and audio books, or cultivating the next generation of leaders at Griffin.
