TULSA, Okla. – Griffin Radio is excited to announce an all-new morning show on the brand-new station, 92.9 The River KRQV, Tulsa’s Greatest Hits. Launching Monday, September 18th, Cliff & Carly Mornings will air Monday through Friday starting at 6am to 9am.

Carly Rush has been a Tulsa staple on the radio airwaves since 1988. After graduating from The University of Tulsa, she started her radio career as a jock and is thrilled to be back to 92.9 The River to play Tulsa’s Greatest Hits! Carly is excited to bring her energy and passion for classic hit music, along with all things Tulsa to The River on weekday mornings.

Michael “Cliff” Clifton grew up in Claremore, OK and has been a radio fanatic for years! With more than 15 years in education, Cliff started his radio career in 2018. He says, “I am living proof to never give up on your dreams because one day they just might become your reality.” One of the most exciting things about being a part of 92.9 The River for Cliff is getting to play the music he grew up with.

“We are thrilled to have the new team of award-winning broadcaster, Carly Rush, paired with former Tulsa school teacher, Michael Clifton, as our new morning show on The River.” According to Griffin Media Director of Radio Operations, Bruce Law. “Both bring a fun perspective on life and promise to connect to the local community with stories and banter on all that is Tulsa. We look forward to the launch of “Cliff & Carly Mornings” Monday morning September 18th.”
