With the college football season nearly here, News 9 is excited to announce our latest Oklahoma’s Own Original, “1st & Football”, will air Tuesday, August 29 at 8 p.m.

Presented by News 9 and your Oklahoma Chevy Team Dealers, “1st & Football” will include a preview from Dean Blevins, John Holcomb and Dusty Dvoracek at the upcoming college football season for OU, OSU & TU.

“It’s always fun to kick off the season with our special. We dig into the important things our state schools need to get done to have a successful season,” said Dean Blevins, News 9 Sports Director. “We’ll have in-depth interviews with head coaches, coordinators & key players. And, we’ll feature stories from our uniquely talented array of reporters that are sure to entertain the casual fan and also the fanatical followers!”

With final Bedlam, Big 12 expansion and OU heading to the SEC, this one-hour TV special will give fans a look at what to expect this year on the gridiron. Tune in for our one-on-one interviews with Gundy and Venables. And, we’ll give a preview of TU and their new coach.
