Each Fall, the Tulsa State Fair and News On 6 partner to help raise money for the Food for Kids program of the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Attendees of the 11 Days of Awesome can purchase advance tickets with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Food for Kids. News On 6 also holds an annual Kiss The Pig challenge during the length of the Tulsa State Fair. Attendees use their donations to vote for the personality they'd most like to see kiss a pig. Thousands of dollars have been raised for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma through advance ticket sales and the Kiss The Pig challenge.

Griffin Radio and Oklahoma Alliance for Animals team up each fall to present the grooviest pet adoption event in Oklahoma — Woofstock. The event is held at Riverwalk in Jenks for a day outdoors filled with music, food and fun! Attendees can also find their new best friend from area shelters and animal welfare organizations on site. All five Griffin radio stations have an on-site presence at the event with giveaways and meet & greet opportunities with on-air talent. During Woofstock 2019, 58 dogs were adopted from over 40 animal rescue organizations and shelters.

Each December, the local motorcycle community comes together for the ABATE of Tulsa Toy Run to benefit the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Thousands of motorcyclists ride in a parade from Expo Square to Guthrie Green to donate new, unwrapped toys for children across northeast Oklahoma. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 41st Annual ABATE of Tulsa Toy Run looked a little different. The parade portion of the Toy Run was cancelled, but thousands of toys were still donated at a drop-off location at the Tulsa Fairgrounds.
