Griffin Communications announced today that Oklahoma’s Own News On 6 has been selected as the Region 6 Overall Excellence Edward R. Murrow Award winner.

The Overall Excellence Award is the highest regional award from Edward R. Murrow and The Radio Television Digital News Association. This award recognizes outstanding achievement in writing, video production, sound, reporting, breaking news and continuous coverage.

One of the last locally owned stations in the nation, News On 6 is home to a dynamic team. The station is consistently ranked number one in the Nielsen ratings in the Tulsa DMA.
