Griffin Communications and News On 6 are excited to announce an all-new special – Oklahoma’s Own Originals: State Fair Stories – will premiere Monday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. with daily segments airing in newscasts from Sept. 28-Oct. 2.

While the 11-day Tulsa State Fair is canceled for 2020 due to COVID-19 precautions, State Fair Stories will still give viewers a taste of the traditions, attractions and entertainment that have made the Tulsa State Fair the largest family event in Tulsa with over 100 years of history.

“So many families have told us that the Tulsa State Fair is personal for them,” said Kristie Webb, News On 6 Special Projects Executive Producer. “Even though the fair is canceled this year, State Fair Stories allows us to share with viewers plenty of ways they can still get their Tulsa State Fair fix.”

We’ll share how viewers can still find those unique and tasty fair foods, get a look at what it takes to keep the historic Skyride running, show how the Made in Oklahoma Building is going hi-tech, highlight this year’s still scheduled Junior Livestock Shows and much more.

Oklahoma's Own Originals: State Fair Stories is the latest addition to our lineup of original specials that we're proud to share with our viewers on News On 6, NewsOn6.com and through our OTT app on AppleTV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV.
