In 2003, Griffin Communications, L.L.C. developed The Good to Great Leadership Institute. Five participants are selected from each television station by General Managers and Department Heads. The class of ten then spends about one day per month in leadership training sessions. A large part of the experience is also designed to form lasting relationships between employees of the two television stations.
The Television General Managers asked Class 1 to develop ways to form a lasting relationship between Griffin Communications’ companies and the Oklahoma Hispanic community. Below are some of the Class 1 accomplishments:
